The Department implements a specific organizational and responsibility plan and commits to updating documents produced within the Quality Policy of Teaching, Research and Third Mission, emphasizing that the Quality Assurance process is, by definition, dynamic. Operational objectives derived from strategic planning are defined annually in the performance plan. The three-year Plan represents the document outlining the Department's strategic vision. This document describes the main objectives and actions considered to have the greatest impact on teaching, research and third mission activities. In 2023, the DESU submitted a five-year Plan instead of a three-year Plan because it is among the 12 departments of area 11 selected nationally as Departments of Excellence (2023-2027).
